I want to ask you what kind of news agency is this. I am from Canada moved over to south East Asia, and of course I want to follow news around this region. Channel news Asia, perfect about Asia. Doing some research on them, they are based in Singapore, ok great, I like Singapore a lot, but I'm just wondering as Singaporeans what do you guys think of this news agency? thanks.

2021.12.08 02:51 ManCakes87 My partner, who is a community college professor, just came home, after administering his final for a class, with such joy.
Apparently, all of his students waited outside the class, until the last student finished their final, so he would walk out and they could surprise him.
He was taking a bit to pack up and leave, but a student poked their head in to say, “hey, professor, do you think you could come out? There’s…. Something you need to see.”
Apparently, a large group of students were waiting outside the whole time to thank him for a great semester and presented him with a small gift.
He came home filled with such joy and is very emotional about it. It’s great to see, and it makes me happy to see how much this lifted his spirit.
It’s not required, but shout out to the students who show appreciation to their professors in this kind of way, when deserved. Not the gift, but just getting together to give a big thank you. Just any expression of appreciation.
He is so happy right now, like, jeez. It makes me happy to know his students appreciate him so much.
Anyway, I certainly appreciate and enjoy most of my professors. Shout out to all the amazing professors that make a difference in our education and lives, especially during this pandemic! ❤️❤️❤️

2021.12.08 02:51 AnalFungis Wtf is going on with the teriyaki?!
I ordered chicken teriyaki tonight from an Oregon state location and I'm scared. It sucked balls. Chewy, fatty, spongie shit chicken.
Is there a chicken shortage? Did they have to change vendors/product? Is this the shoddy work of an inexperienced cook?
I'm hoping this is a one-off. If this the result of the economy sucking I'm going to be very upset.

2021.12.08 02:51 emtur88 ELI5 How do US health insurance companies make money?
I know that US health insurance is an industry that makes a lot of money, but I can’t see how. Recently, my son was in the NICU and the bill was over 1 million dollars. However, I paid only the admission copay of $250. I know that people with worse insurance would pay more, but surely not anywhere close to a million. People with no insurance would likely also pay way less. I’m sure premiums also come into play, but most premiums even over many years will not approach a million dollars.

2021.12.08 02:51 Taco_Tuesdayss Play Halo Early
Halo and Doritos announced a deal they are having, buy one party bag of nacho cheese/cool ranch Doritos and you get a code to play Halo Infinite’s campaign 12 hours early. I saw this ad on Twitter and picked up a bag today, code works on PC and Xbox. So definitely go to your grocery store and pick up a bag because I’m gonna be playing in one hour boys! Don’t think this is a worldwide deal, but in the US it should be available with certain retailers.

2021.12.08 02:51 Badrussy Natural Family Planning
My wife and I have two premie- yet healthy kids. During both pregnancies, my wife faced troubles with preeclampsia and stroke level blood pressure. Our doctor has informed us we can likely only have 1 more child before it becomes far to risky to have another and even then he recommends we wait a few years. Of course we are catholic and do not believe in contraceptives. We would like to try natural family planning but have run into another issue- my wife has irregular menstrual cycles and so tracking it could be nearly impossible. This process can take over a year to collect data. If our data is inconclusive and we are unable to efficiently use NFP. What are we to do as far as our sexual lives? We are already willing to give it up for nearly a year for the possibility of tracking her cycle. But are we out of options? Shall we just practice abstention for the rest of our lives? Clearly our intimacy will be lacking in that area and we both agree. Is there some other way?
